what is a head spa?

A head spa treatment, Japanese/Korean head spa, or scalp treatment, is a relaxing 60-90 minute service performed in a private room by a member of our team. Utilizing many tools geared towards scalp health, including a specialty shampoo bowl attached to a spa bed, we spend the majority of your appointment performing several scalp manipulations and cleansing practices. We begin each appointment with a scalp analysis and prep, and end with a deep conditioning and light blow dry. Our private room is equipped with soft lighting and relaxing sounds to help each guest receive a relaxing experience.

A relaxing service utilizing a Scandinavian scalp treatment technique, and a Japanese head spa bed. The visit begins with a scalp analysis, manual exfoliation, and moves into a thorough shampoo and mechanical exfoliation, hydrating conditioning mask and steam treatment, and hand and arm massage, all using organic or minimal ingredient products. You will leave the salon with damp hair - adding excessive heat post exfoliation could cause irritation to the scalp.

Micro facial includes a gentle cleanse, soothing hydrojelly mask, and relaxing facial massage. Foot detox includes a foot soak, hot towels, and gentle massage. Blow dry includes minimal heat tool styling.

Each add on extends your appointment time by 15 minutes.
